Oregon $2 buy back

Noticed on the banner tonight an ad from oregon chain for a $2 buy back on old chains. Not sure if it is only for oregon or for any old chain. Currently the local farm store is having a sale for 16" chain for $12, so I think I will dig out some old chains and trade in for some 20LP.

Thanks. Thats nice to know. I ended up with some old chains of my great uncles that I was going to toss, but now I have a use for them.

Is this a good deal? I mean, $2 is about what a used chain is worth, IMO.

Oregon still sells you a new chain, at retail...do you think one makes out doing that?

Well, I have about 60 to 70lbs of old chains. I wonder how much I could get out of them. Enough for one good chain? Seems legit. I might have to give Rich a call tomorrow.
