If I wanted to run a loop to my shop for a 130k btu heater. Would I just be able to get away with using the pump on the boiler? Boiler
Will sit directly behind the shop so the run will prob be under 50 feet. I was thinking just run the loop with on off valves and splice return before the valves.

If your boiler has a spare feed and return that is capped now. I would use them and install a another pump for the shop loop. That way you can run the shop and house at the same time. I have seen folks T in to the return from there house and route that to the shop but sometimes the run gets too long and the water on the return can be to cold to heat the shop.
