If you had to choose a back up falling saw for use in Cedar,Fir trees (West coast B.C) some trees 40"+ Across and you had these 3 saw to choose what would it be
Stihl 038 MAG 30"BAR skip chain
Husky 371 30" BAR skip chain
Husky 266 28" BAR skip chain.

Well, I really like my Husky 55. It's not quite as big as what you're looking at, but for what it is it sure goes through the wood. I think it actually cuts a little faster than similarly sized Stihl models -- revs a little faster and seems to make a little more torque at that RPM --> cuts faster.
