RM chain

Does Stihl make a yellow link RM chain in .325 pitch? I see listings for it in their literature, but my local dealer denies it's availability.

Thanks, Old Man. I knew the designations. What confuses me is that they sell 33 RM, but don't sell 26 RM. I've asked twice...now I'll start shopping elsewhere.

sure do my dealer sells both husy and stihl. when i bought my husky350 bought 2 extra chains at same time thats what i got.

Well 26RM should be readily available. Your dealer probably does not stock it because he sells RM2 most of the time and those who do not want the RM2 want RS. It would be stupid for a dealer to stock 26RM when the chances of selling it is low. The part number for a 100 foot reel is 26RM-100R (real original) type number 3970, and index 00B0520. It should also be available in 25' reels and in loops. If you cannot find it let me know and I may be able to get you some.

Well, the men at work gave me a MS200t for retirement. I had to go to Milford to turn in the warranty card, and while I was there, I looked on the wall behind the counter. Guess what I found.
