Greetings all, My grandfather heated with one of these for years and have always wanted one for myself, anyone have one laying around they would be interested in selling?

You can find these around all the time. Craigslist in St. Louis had a few on there last time I checked. There is a company called Restoration Stove Co. or something like that, and other companies that rebuild/restore these old gems. I have one out in my shop right now, keeping it warm to allow some painted things to dry.

neat stoves, and a lot of times,,the finial is worth more than the stove!!!! sooooooo, if you go to where one is on a auction..you chances of stealing it,,are about zip!!!

Yup. That's what my dad called the one he found and heated a wreck of a house with--or just one room. There wasn't much insulation in that house. We just stored stuff there, but he made kind of a workshop out of one room.
