I have an 8" dbl wall insulated chimney, it has started to leak sap through the seams to the inside, It really stinks. I looked down the chimney, didnt see any exessive build up or bad spots, Never had this before. I wonder if the seam is opening up on the inside a little. Thinking i will have to replace it this summer. Also cheched with heat gun , no hotspots. Anybody else have this happen?

no fires that i know of, it is 15 years old though, when i clean it yearly i only get a soup can of creasote. it looks really clean until the chimny gets to the uninsulated attic.
