Now thats a truckload. Never heard of Sugar Pine. Why is it called sugar?

Ya, I like the look of the hightop's better as well, but I still love this saw too. 272 is running pretty good now, I think its just slightly on the rich side.

The 272 is my favorite there. Bad ass saw.

Not sure how the saws stay on the truck going down the road tho.

You need a gooseneck trailer to haul enough wood to give that 394 a workout

Ya, I ve heard lots of good things about the 272's, I snapped it up when it came up for sale. Its a really clean saw as you can see by the pics. I just didn't run so well when I got it. Going good now, and I have less then $200 into the powerhead, I had that bar and chains already, 26" GB Pro top. I would love a trailer as well. Just more $$$$$$$$$$ though, which I don't want to spend at this point. And no where really to keep it.

MacDaddy, nice pics there. How heavy is that wood, how do you lift those big rounds into the truck, nice truck too, I used to have one just like it, 86GM 4x4.
