Got two of them from a friend who's son bought them at JN surplus auction. (Son is a Firefighter) so he said they go used twice a year for testing purposes, as well as maintenance reasons only. 25:1 a couple of pumps on the squeeze bulb and boom fired right up. funny thing is the carb has low and high adjustments like a chainsaw but does not seem capable of going lean ?? when tuning I was concerned as not being a chainsaw I could not test it in the "cut" for four stroke, but it seems that no matter how I set it I can barely get it to go full 2 stroke. if I go to far on the lean side it just stalls . like literally 1/16 of a turn out of max RPM's and it stalls, but at the Max RPM point it will barely, and I mean barely 2 stroke at WOT.
