Your gonna find that a lot of folks like the old 028 super. They may be heavier and some slower than the newer 50cc hotshots, but they still do the job and do it well. The old Mac's are heavy and slow but they seem to have a following. So maybe older and slower aint all bad.
Both saws are good its just a personal preference. I ran my 350 today with the 20" bar buried in fir and it felt like it had a bit more than my 028 super. But not a lot more considering the 350 was running .325 and the super was running 3/8. I am more of a 70cc guy though so I don't use the 50cc saws that much. If I need to limb, I usually go for a 200t.
