all of these trees were cut with a 660 that Tree Sling'r built for me. I don't know that all this would be OSHA approved, but when it is windy u gotta do what u gotta do.

vids courtesy of the gf.

wind set the tree back, and the i was cutting this one, it was leaning hard to the left and all it took was a love tap.

definitely should have went the way that i notched it. but 20+mph winds are good for changing the direction of trees!

Amen to that, many guys who argue the modded vs. stock will never be in that type of situtation, therefore many have no idea.

as long as there is not a vast longevity difference with running modded saws the benefits far outweigh the costs. i am able to cut several more trees per day with a modded saw, and it doesn't take but a couple days to pay for having them modded.

the thing that i like is walking up the a tree, setting a notch and being able to start aat one side and have the power to walk around it and outrun the tree, which you wouldn't be able to do with a stock saw.

and of course there is the people that are in awe when they watch it!! that is always good for a laugh.

Awesome!

Sadly...I have been bedridden with a broken rib and not able to snowmobile so far this year. I have a bad case of CAD that may be terminal and have come to the realization that I need a 660....

I also found out a guy down the street has a 088... For what, I have no idea, but I'm sure to go borrow it as he likes to loan it out from what I hear!
