I tried emailing you again today with my mailing address. I thought I had sent it on the 12th of Feb but I guess I wasn't logged in at the time or it got lost. If you don't get this one please let me know. Thanks

Hee, hee. I thought this whole washer kit deal was some form of mass hysteria, now I know.

HA!

You went and voulinteered for this!

041 your doing a heck of a job here, good work!

I still need to know how many spring/shims you need though.

.

Wow - these shims are absolutely superb and transform this thing into a real professional-feeling machine! Many thanks to RBW and 041S!

It seemed so easy, send address, get parts, send 3 unmarked bills, send a rude email .

But NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

It seemed so easy:

000 email request, 041 emails back, 000 emails address, not much trouble so

far(though if 000 had read the thread, 000 would have just emailed an

address(course I don't read threads but I ain't tellin')), 000 waits 20 minutes

and emails 041 asking if he got the address, 041 emails back, 041 may post

how the work is going or any delays so 000 can ignore it, packages are made,

lists and code names are checked, posts are made, posts are ignored, 000

panics, 000 emails(didn't read the 2 day part)....

In reality, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE has been great. If I had a

grinder, I wouldn't want to wait while someone read a bunch of emails.

people have been sending cash to me (some sent 5 or 6 dollars just to screw

with my head(thanks)). NO One has been negative in any way.

RBW:if you could send 30 more it wouldn't be too many. People are still

asking!!

By the way, I didn't ask for this job, my parents lost a bet with God.

These are great

Thanks all for everything with this whole R&D and production of the shims. I didn't know exactly what everyone was talking about, having never even seen a chain grinder in person, let alone operated one. But it all sorta made sense. Well, the grinder came in the mail today, I pulled out the shims and went about installing them. Now it all makes perfect sense, so much nicer and smoother. Very ingenuitive. Great thinking. Again, thanks to all involved. Now, I just need to sit down at some point and try to learn how to use this thing. That's for a later time, hopefully in a week or three.

Rob,
I keep trying to give you + rep every time I can. Hopefully folks are sending at least $3.00 and positive rep. You are sure being a good sport about this! Keep up the good work!

P.S. I know the compliment thing isn't $$$, but maybe it helps a little!!

BTW Rob, I'm planning to meet a fellow who wants to walk through the Hemlock grove and give me a number. We're heading up Saturday. While we are up there, I am hoping to run the new saw just a little.

STIHL041S I sent you an email. I'll purchase a set of shims if you still are offering them. I'll p.m. you.
