Stihl 460 or 461?

I had the same thread going recently, from what I gather basically the same saw, displacement is displacement. I ended up getting a ported 461 and could not be any happier.

They are very similar, especially chassis-wise, but identical only in displacement. The 461 is a quad port non-strato design with the transfer entrances on the intake side of the jug, and the 460 is Stihl's traditional twin port engine with the transfer entrances directly below the exits on the sides of the jug.
