Sycamore tree's...

I've never cut Sycamore. Seems like it would be pure white and clear, and nice to mill.
Is Sycamore used at all in cabinets, furniture, flooring, etc. ?

Sycamore has a light pinkish/cream heartwood, similar to Black Cherry but not as dark. It doesn't darken as much as Cherry as it ages. Quarter-sawn Sycamore has some beautiful rays. Was used for interior decorative wood in some Victorian houses. Not a great firewood but it burns. It has a lot of water, so much that green logs barely float.

I mistakenly thought it'd be pure white inside. It is unique wood for sure.
