Wow. Just 3°? Did you find it too grabby beyond that? Apart from extremely dense, dead gums, I'm somewhere between 6° and 8°. Even in the aforementioned hard going wood, it's still about 5-6°bobL method, i found 3° works best for what i do and it allways cuts like new

bogs my saw down so cuts slower if i gave it a port job and a muf mod all would be good but just can not be bother at the moment and to much stuff to do.What happens above 3°? Too grabby?

42" mate. I gave up an inch or so on the powerhead end though. Didn't want to get too close to the slot.what size is yr carlton bar there rob?
