When the infiltrators start infiltrating I hope they have some warm clothes.
4-6" snow forecast for Monday. Has been a long winter up this way.
If I come down any more notches I'm liable to fall off the bottom rung.

Well, my hat is off to you. I can't take the cold. The heat doesn't really bother me too bad.

We have a big mexican community here in Ia, most work in meat processing plants. I will see them trying to do there own trees but thats about it. There are alot of mexican roofers but thats from the white guys hiring cheap labor and they go out on their own.

There are alot of authenic mexican restaurants I eat at alot, they have great food. I shop at their stores for certain things also,I dont mind them, they dont bother me.

For the Dan, I can buy 8 limes for a buck, I make homemade limeade all the time.

We have tons of latinos here, not like closer to the border but tons. They are getting really brazen here too, alot of them have their own businesses-trees, landscape, plumbing, heat/ac, utlilities, just about every trade you could think of. They're working very cheap, whoring out their own kind, paying cash, few have licenses, most have no insurance or pay real taxes etc. Alot of these owners are illegal themselves and hire only a couple legals and the rest of their workforce illegal.
They are landing a lot of huge jobs from HOA's, General contractors and private business owners. The people that are hiring them don't even try to do any due diligence as long as the price is cheap. I hope it all backfires on them when the #### hits the fan.

Sounds like your area has the same problem Texas does. I know exactly what you are talking about.

I search ArboristSite for info. to learn and so I clicked on a thread as promising as, “The Future of Arboriculture”. Some of it was amusing, some happening, some foretelling what surely is to happen in my area near SF California. But some of it was just disappointing too. If we formed a bigot group (I promise you would be scared at how good I could be at it) and did a really good job of marketing it to society you and I, a hand full of years down the road, would not want to live in that society. I think thats why we have collectively made laws against it.

Start a business to uphold Contractor and residency laws--In bounds.

Take a $2k course to transform your business--In bounds.

Name call and marginalize another human being--Foul!

Color me lost but I'm not real sure where you are coming from or going there. Are you a bigot? I don't get it. Are you another left wing sympathizer of illegal aliens? Enlighten.
