Treevet I have 60"'s 48" 41" Stihl ES 41" Cannon 36"'s 29" and 25"'s.
The Stihl 41" is a 41" cutting lenth so is 123 DL's as opposed to the Cannon which is a 41" at 111 DL's I find the 41" Stihl a great balanced bar on the 090/070. Your AV looks good !
I'm still looking for an non AV 090 !
We don't get skip chain over here and to be honest a 090 won't need it !!

Yeah, Dave, I just bought a 41" last weekend. I have been running a 36" for 30 years and sometimes come up short going both ways on the stumps. I think the 41" will remedy. The next option was a 50" (prob same as your 48") and the one in the pict, chainsawman, is 60".

I just thought the 50" as a dedicated on saw bar might keep the 90 on the shelf more than I want it to be. For giant stuff I got the 60". Even that can come up short on some of the big stumps I have to flush, then just take of some buttress and get the power head in there.
