Would anyone out there know who fabricates the tune pipes for the Real Race Saws. I would like some dimensions for different displacements of saws, then I'll start welding, stainless or carbon.

Thanks
Jody

Jody- Ken Dunn has some formulas he uses and has posted thos in the past, here was one posting he listed:

Length= exhaust duration times wave speed divided by rpm
Chain Saw
170 times 1700=289000 divided by 12000=24.08 inches

Motorcycle
200 times 1700=340000 divided by 12000= 28.33 inches
motorcycle, 10500 rpm
200 times 1700=340000 divided by 10500= 32.33 inches
kts-100 kart pipe
176x1700=299200 divided by 12000= 24.93 inches
So if you are going to modify an existing pipe the kart pipe is the pipe to modify

Those are Ken Dunn's numbers, copied and pasted from a previous post. I neck my numbers down a bit usually, because I only build woods saws for myself, exhaust runs around 165-6 degrees, intake 158 or so.
