For all of you who are weekend warriors who like me love being in the woods but have a desk job I thought I'd share.
Got a big New Holland tractor, chains, 372XP and 262XP to harvest a few pines in the Lancaster, MA town forest.
We're getting the wood sawn to build a new sugar shack for our 80 gallon production of maple syrup the cub scouts produce each year from over 100 maple trees around town.

First time w/ 28" bar and 73JGX skip chain on the 372. Felling and cutting the logs to length w/ the skip chain saw felt great.
Didn't get any footage felling, but got a couple vids carrying logs w/ tongs and dragging one that was too heavy for the bucket.
Got a few 16', 12', and 8' straight chunks of white pine. Have another 10 trees to go. Trying to carry logs instead of dragging to keep 'em clean.

Nice vids and good project man! Kids gonna build the shack, too?

That tractor looks plenty strong, too!
