I have had this troublesome fever blister on my frenulum, do you sell a
product for that?

Is it better than wd-40 for gout, and the outbreak of AIDS?

Sorry, I am not much for hopping on moving trains.....

Ya'll are going to run the feller off before he can settle in.

Welcome to AS Klotzlubemn! I can testify the quality of Klotz products as i have used them in my dirt bikes through the years with out any problems, no buildup, bearing failure etc. the list goes on. Gotta love that smell too. Great product!

Welcome to AS Klotz, I'm a Mobil guy myself... at least until it runs out, then maybe we'll talk

Pay no mind to Fish.... he was abused as an adult. :D

I want to try some too but only if I can get one of those cool looking caps to go with an order lolololollll. Welcome to AS!

Welcome to the site Rick.

I've been running R50 for over a year now and so far I love the stuff. I had the cylinder off of my 353 a couple of weeks ago and everything inside was coated with oil and looked shiny new.

 Andy.

Don't take my supposition as a definitive answer, but I believe they are talking about methanol race fuel, not 90% gasoline.

Nah!!!

It's gotta be thier version of a lawyers disclaimer about using the stuff while drinking beer.... Dang Killjoys!

Stay safe!

Techniplate

I always used Klotz Techniplate when I raced model hydroplanes. It mixed great with the fuels that contained 45 percent alcohol and 40% nitro. These glow engines with tuned pipes turned from 20,000 to 28,000 RPM. Unbelievable how clean the combustion chambers stayed.

Run Klotz in my CR 250, love the smell! Might give it try in the powersaws too. How much for how much??? Welcome to AS, beware of excessive oil threads here, especially in the PNW......:dizzy: Gary, you up yet buddy?

Klotz is good stuff.

As soon as I run out of my Mobil1 2T, it will be the only thing going in my saws. Also made in the good ole USA, in fact they manufacture it just a few miles from where I work. Always smelled good burnin' in the old Yamahas.

Great News And Welcome Aboard! The timing couldn't be better for me. My stash of Mobil and Motul are almost exhausted.:hmm3grin2orange:
I was looking for a good Klotz source in my area but, no dice!

On the alcohol question, OK to mix with gasoline with up to 15% ethanol.
When it mixes with alcohol fuels, it will tend to separate.

Do not use if the operator is more than .04% ethyl alcohol.
With higher concentrations, saws will tend to cut crooked and things not intended to be cut with a chain saw...

I have wondered about this as well. I'm not sure how big a deal it is though since fuel shouldn't be kept long term anyway. It would just be another plus if it does. How about rust/corrosion protection?

The R-50 doesn't have any fuel stabilizers in it. You are right, you shouldn't keep fuel for very long. Typically, I have heard that 2-3 months max in a plastic container. The octane will leach out through plastic and the gas will become weak and break down. The oil will not break down, only the quality of the gas, which in turn will make the whole mixture poor quality. A sealed metal can is always best for long term fuel storage.

The R-50 has an excellent rust inhibitor and can be used as a storage lubricant.

Klotz makes an octane booster that comes in a metal can. It is not so much to increase performance (to gain hp) but more of a fuel stabilizer. It is also an excellent fuel system cleaner. It will pick up water in gas and carry it through and make it burnable. It is a great storage additive. In a lot of ways it has many of the same qualities that Sea Foam has and I know quite a few of you use that.
