I use purple power 5:1. I still have a 2.5 gallon jug of the old formula before it turned the carbs black. I will not be purchasing the new formula. I deal with heavily soiled carbs and often require hours of clean time. When the solution is too scuzzy to use again I pour it in nasty gas tanks to loosten and remove years of buildup on the bottoms. It will eat aluminum over long durations but that gets it down to bare clean metal. It also removes paint.
