Used motor oil is good for mixing with gas also makes the best bar oil.

I just mix gas with the saw chips, basically recycling the chips and using them as fuel for the 2 stroke engine.

Make sure you don't get too much dirt with the chips, they have to be clean.

Funny thing: I left without any gas in my mix can this morning...or any oil to make some at the gas station. I bought a quart of snowmo/jet ski oil (Jaso FD) and guesstimated (hard to see through the clear strip) 6 oz plus for two gallons.

No problems, and burned about 3/4 of a two gallon jug!
