I guess my man Coleman is up next...... 2nd shift managers spare genny. He claims it will not fire off.
I get it home and pop the fuel tank cap off for a whiff..... empty... but smells rank.
I pour a smidge of E0 in the tank, choke on full and give the cord 7 rips.... nothing. Hear dripping and peer under the fuel tank to see gas dripping to floor. Cracked hose below the clamp. No problemo! I got hose, an inline valve and a filter on standby. Figure I should pop the carb bowl off for a look..... NFGAA.
Found a new OEM Tecumseh carb on eBay for $80.00.... hard NO. Individual parts add up to almost the same.... skip it. I hate to but gonna try a cheap clone carb from the usual scumbags for $16.00. The bonus is I get cloned plug... fuel and air filters and hose. May have to file some of that in the f$$k it bucket per usual as long as the carb will work.
If I get it to run good then move on to oil change and spark plug with a few other odds and ends. So how about it? Who's rooting for my man Coleman???
