in on one. I do it to see bar oil come out the little hole. I love to sit them all on the front porch at idle just to piss off the noisy neighbors. plus they all sound good like a old tune.

I can't imagine not blipping. Otherwise you are just listen to idle, which can get boring. My preference is to listen to them when they are buried balls deep in wood making chips. But I do blip. Just for the heck of it. This morning I revved the 441c no load full throttle for a second or so just to hear it four stroke. Just did the muffler mod on it a few days ago, so getting used to the sound.

Got to work the saws out good this morning on the live oak

I usually wrap the throttle when I first fire the saw up for work. checking the sound and throttle response. just listening to see if anything is off.
Then only if I get chips in the bar or want to check if it oiling.
