I have a Husky 357 with no bar and chain, it has the large mount rim drive on it with a 7 pin .375 sprocket. I have several small mount husky .325 tip bars, so I was thinking of converting this saw to .325 rim sproket, however, I can only seem to find a large mount rim sprocket in 9 pin .325.

Think a lightly ported 357 will pull a 9pin .325?

There is only one way to find out how it works for you, in your wood - just try it, rims are cheap!

Use a short bar!

I'm sure it'll pull it. It's just a question of if it will pull it better than a 8-pin. I doubt it. Why are you running .325 on a ported 60cc saw? I catch flack for running it on a ported 50cc saw:)

I used to run a .325 8pin with a 18" bar on my muffler modded 357xpg(sold) and it was super smooth and did cut plenty fast :)

Good luck with 9pin !!!
