I ran a 130 for many years with the 4mix engine. 50:1 stihl moto mix then later on Redarmor pre mix at 50:1. Zero issues with either fuel. It saw fairly extensive use in the spring and summer. Only thing I ever changed out was spark plug, air filter, fuel filter. Just my 2 cents.

When it comes to the types of equipment 4mix engines are used in Redmax or the Husky badged Redmax's are the only way to fly. Way more durable and just as powerful. Echo/Shindaiwa are good too, although Shindaiwa stuff is typicly underpowered.
I have nothing but praise for my echo srm 2320t. I can't say that about husqvarna trimmers with the floppy anti vibe control handles.

sounds like you were running it like it was meant to be run

Well 2nd season running my KM91 4mix on 32:1 Red Armor. Started right up and still plows through tough grass. I guess I need to see if it is experiencing any carbon buildup but it runs too good to mess with it right now.
