Western Mass Get Together January 14, 2012

Sorry about the new thread, but couldn't figure out how to edit the title of my old one (Possible AS Get together)

Ok, it looks like it's official. There will be a get together on January 14th 2012 meeting at my family woodlot in Western MA. I've got 5 confirmed attendees, but with any GTG the more the merrier so if you're interested let me know and I will send directions via PM to anyone interested.

Send me the address and any info I'd need to find the place. Are we doing any grub? BBQ grill on site , etc? Who needs to bring what (other than our saws) ?

I will have a charcoal grill on site if needed, I plan on makin a big batch of chili or beef stew, I know a couple others have said they'd bring hot food, I also plan on grabbing a keg of local stuff for the end of the day, I will have a small camp stove with a couple of pots of coffee going through the day, so as far as grub I think we're good. As far as bringing anything else other than saws that's entirely up to each individual, I know at least one person has mentioned bringing a splitter and I plan on having mine there as well as soon as I find the parts I need for it

A GTG thats actually near me would be fun I think. Maybe get some logs and do some cookies.

I may be able to make it as long as snow is not forcast, just before or after the 14th.

Would like to come, but being a crotchety old geezer it will depend on weather, both precipitation and temperature. When the extended forecast says OK, please let me know what if anything I can contribute.

I would love to come, but unfortunately I have this wedding this to go to. I'd love to get out of it to play with chainsaws, but it's actually my wedding and I'm sure the future wife type person would be just a tad bit upset if I'm not there......
