I have not done any transfer work as of yet and would like to improve the flow on my Husky 44's.They are open port and would like to see pics or ideas on opening them up please.Heres a pic of what they look like. It's to late for this one I just put her on and have the piped muffler and coil and plastic to finish.I do have 3 others that want to lose some weight.

Looks like that outta work. :msp_thumbsup:
Thanks for the quick response. That is a slug I widened the ports on tooo far that had all kinds of speed but no grunt in the cut.I put it on a saw and it ran fine but still had no grunt in the cut.If this is right I will cut into one tomorrow thats ported right.I don't know why but I like this grinding stuff.

Being a good porting newbie I did a search. But, still have one question.
Blending the transfers back towards the intake appear to be leaving no coverage for ring end gap. I thought this was a no-no?
It could be an optical delusion but that's what it looks like.

This is for a husky 353 if it matters. I took the port covers off for ease of access and so far have only gasket matched the base of the transfers. I was going to do a 346 cyl on it but figured this was more fun.
