Any project Husqvarna saws for rebuild or that need work I am very interested in. I am a saw building hobbyist and ISO some
New projects as the market for project saws around me is very thin. Budget is negligible so no worries. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration

I have a Husqvarna 576 with an air leak and a 575 that needs rings. Both need mufflers and the 575 needs a mount. They both have full wrap handles. They are woods saws and show signs of wear, but are not broken up. PM me for pictures if interested. I'm having trouble uploading pictures to this site, and texting or email is easier for me.

Any way PM me what your asking for it buddy. I will respectfully tell you I have no interest in the 575 after hearing of all the horror stories and bad experiences with that model. That’s from what I understand why they released the more developed and reliable 576

No, I have too many projects right now, and didn't want to tie up space with a torn down saw that's awaiting parts. I'm tied up today, but tomorrow morning I can pull the muffler and try to get you a decent picture of the piston, as well as some of the whole saw.

thank you so much chipper! I’ll keep my eye out for that 359 if you post it.. I may be interested in that as well!
Welcome.
I deleted that post because I thought I was in a PM, I have a few PM's with the same title as this thread, needed more :drinkingcoffee:.
I'll be listing the 359, it's not a project saw for those who may think it is.

Here's a link to some pictures of the 359.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/1c991ZFG2CxwG8tE8Issues/areas of concern that I see right off; bellows/seal near the throttle rod to the air box is torn, plastic intake clamp, missing screw on the recoil.
I think this may have come to the wrong person. I am confused by this new format I guess, can't tell whether I'm responding to a pm or to a post on the original thread

It is a bit hard to tell, hopefully they will keep making improvements.
I posted the above post in Mikes thread/to him, but trust me when I responded to it this morning I thought I was responding to a pm :badpc:.
Just to be clear this is a public thread :D.

I have a MS310 project if you're interested. Took it to get the compression checked before I listed it for sale, and while it's holding 140psi, they found scoring on the piston/cylinder on the exhaust side.

She's a nice clean saw, I bought it new 14 or so years ago. Has a custom muffler on it too. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send pics.

How much for the ms310? I could use a part saw for mine.

Jesse you should PM Muad. He’s a super nice guy and his ms310 is really nice I almost pulled the trigger on it too. You’d be happy with that saw buddy itd be a super donor. Almost too good for a chance parts saw as it’s still a strong runner right now. Just no telling when that scoring will shut it down or lock it up. PM him though he’s a real nice guy

I have a husqvarna 66 its missing all three covers recoil, top and chain. i got it as a parts saw now idea what’s the deal on it. Piston looks clean if you are interested let me know il get you some pictures.
