I just bought used said saw above, and it is stamped with oregon 3/8 7 on drive sprocket. Is this a stock sprocket?
Im waiting on bar to get to me to confirm weather its 050 or 063.
With a micrometer the chains dls measure 050, but the inner width measurements on sprockets pockets measure around 065?
Which do you go with?
Im asking b/c i want to order a longer bar/ chain.

That is the standard sprocket size and it will work with any any gauge chain.

Even a lo pro bar/ chain combo?
My only other stihl has a regular gear shaped sprocket( older 041 super)
Not till i bought this saw did i find out its not a gear shaped sprocket, inotherwords it has 7 pockets cut into a round hub that slips over a splined shaft.
Im leaning towards a lo pro combo for my mk3 mill to not tax saw as bad...

The bar will indicate guage. Noticed that is regional. Around Midwest, mostly .050. Canada and PNW, seems all .063
