Sachs dolmar 114 ignition problem

Im having trouble starting my chainsaw. It's sachs dolmar 114 and it hasn't been started in years. It gets gas in the cylinder and gives a spark too but its not starting. Can someone help me please.

Check compresion?
If you dont have a tester pull muffler and make sure no scoring on cylinder.
Is it too flooded to start? Pull plug and try blowing out with compressed air to dry out.
