Hey all, I've got a chance to grab a Dolmar ps-510 for 80$, just wondering if anyone can help me i.d the year and country of origin with the serial number..0509034114. Tag mentions Hamburg, Germany but may just be company hq? Have those ever been made there? Dude said the saw might be a '96. Im just getting into dolmar saws!

I like to run the Dolmars a lot better than I like working on them. I own a 5100S which I believe may be made in the US. Our local dealer quit selling them so parts might be harder to get...
On newer units Makita parts fit just as well, You only have to cross reference Dolmar to Makita model designations.
On elder units, European members can be of help.
Just think ahead ordering parts or have patience.
My Dolmar is mainly used to hold down the shelf it is sitting on. It hasn't been used for a year or so...
