Welcome to AS is the mill home made or a manufactured one. sounds like your bar might not be parallel with the runners of the mill. worth looking at. if it was out a little bit that wood make it bind in no time .

I'm not saying that it should be done. I did it for a test. I do have spare parts

I have a 038m that the piston was 5 times worse than that :eek: cleaned it up and replaced rings cleaned up cil and runs verry well.:) its a see how it goes saw :chainsaw: i do have a spare parts saw if it craps out on me.:rolleyes::ices_rofl: so far it has cut a crap load of wood :D

Stihl shops down here tune every saw before it leaves the store. so does the husqvarna shop. :hi:
