I cut firewood and love chainsaws, I have a Stihl MS193t, MS261, MS290 and a MS661 what saw do I need to add to my collection to complete maybe a better saw in the middle of my pack? I only like Stihl chainsaws because I have many dealers near me.

I am trying to fix a weak spark on a Echo 360t and tried to get a coil from Fleabay but it was to large, does anyone have a aftermarket coil I can put on it to get it back up and running here is the vin CO4412010484 manufactured date of July 2012. Thank you

Just to let you guys know, I got the Amazon carb that Paul Fithian said he put on his 024 and I worked great, fixed thank you so when the carb rebuild comes in I can rebuild the original carb and have one on hand for it.

No harm taken Vintage and yes we can rebuild it ourselves but wanted a quick and easy fix, I have ordered the rebuild kit also if the $14 carb don’t fix the problem, thank you for all input.

Sorry fat fingered the keyboard, the saw is leaking gas from the muffler, just wanting to put another carb on it but didn’t know what aftermarket carb to get. I will be doing all the work myself, the saw is flooding itself and the unburnt fuel is leaking through the muffler

Hello, I'm looking for a carb for a Stihl 024av made in West Germany, not sure who is the manufacturer of the carb that is on it, The saw leaks gas through the muffler trays why I'm thinking carb replace.

Ok well I took the reed valve off and cleaned it and yes it is closing and staying shut. I also put another spark plug in it and put it back together and nothing still, I took the on/off switch off to see if that was it and nope.

So, Driver what parts do you need to make one of those poor mans pressure/vacuum testers besides the ketchup dispenser?

The fuel line looks good,I sprayed some carb cleaner through it and the vent line looks ok and the filter in the vent line I don’t think is stopped up I sprayed some air through it but didn’t want to blow to much pressure through it scared that it would blow the little filter out the end. My...

Ok thanks for the input, my saw isn’t starting and it has spark and I put fuel in the spark plug hole and it still doesn’t start just looking for potential problems.

Will that make a saw not start if it’s not working?

I have a Stihl 011 avt and it isn’t starting so I took off the carb and cleaned it and noticed a chrome like springy door under the carb over the cylinder, what is that and how does it work, thanks a lot.

Is there anyone that can work on my Stihl 011 avt to to the same thing as they did here?
