I will check the crank and inspect the clutch. I read about the bearing upgrade kit - 1125-007-1041. Figure I might as well do that if I get a bearing anyway....

Thanks for the replies. Pretty sure it is not stolen. Nice enough guy in a decent area. Was just cleaning out his garage and sheds (and it showed - stuff everywhere) as he was moving. I will check with the local stihl dealer and ask if has had any inquiries
