Want to Buy Stihl 064 066/660

I’m looking for an 064, 066/660. I’d like to find a running one if possible. I plan to use the saw so it doesn’t have to be museum quality. Just not beat. I’d also be interested in a project saw in that size also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Want to Sell Stihl MS260

I’m going to through more parts/project saws that I haven’t touched. Looking to let this 260 go. Definitely needs top end work as you can see in the one pic. The recoil rope is hanging out. It needs a muffler cover. Other than that, it looks pretty complete. I haven’t really done any...

Want to Sell Stihl 028 and 028 Super

Looking to unload some projects. I have 2 028s that I’d like to pass onto someone else. I just have too many. This is the cleaner of the two. I bought it as a project but it does run. It looks to be complete and all OEM. I haven’t torn into it so I don’t know of any underlying issues...

Want to Buy Project saw Stihl 024, 026 or 260

I have a few 026’s and an 024 Super. They are in varying stages. All of the 026’s run and the 024 needs at least a top end.

    Want to Buy Stihl 064

I am rebuilding my Stihl 064. Looking for a few parts. Before I go with a meteor piston, I’d like to see if anyone has a new or used OEM piston. I am also looking for an OEM worm gear, oil cap, carb grommet, inner felling spike or set of spikes with hardware and dual port muffler cover...

    Sold 034/036 parts

So it’s missing the flywheel, recoil, carb, plastics, muffler and piston/cylinder? Am I missing anything else? I’m assuming it’s a 4mm bolt recoil too? When you say the bearings are “tight” I’m assuming you mean they are good? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Want to Buy Stihl 024 and 026 cylinders

I’m looking for a few OEM cylinders in usable condition. I’m looking for an 024 cylinder with the “s” stamped into the top. I’m also looking for a good 026 cylinder. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    024 AVS

Is an 024 AVS an 024 Super? I’ve seen some with Super on the top cover and some with AVS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stihl 034

Good point! I did use a decent amount of assembly oil. I’ll most likely complete it and run it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Stihl 034

I did put grease on the inner lip of both seals. As far as “hard to pull”, it feels like a lot of compression, but more than my big saws. It’s like a combination of compression and tight seals The piston isn’t hitting the ground strap of the plug. Checked that also. I have another set of...

    Stihl 034

Unfortunately I don’t have the saw with me. This isn’t the first time I’ve installed seals. It is possible that they may be driven too deep. I did use the correct seal driver for the saw. The both drivers have a lip so that they aren’t driven too deep. The seals came in the gasket/seals kit...

    Stihl 034

I used the Stihl seal drivers. I mean it’s possible. I didn’t think with the drivers you could drive too far though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
