024 AVS

Is an 024 AVS an 024 Super? I’ve seen some with Super on the top cover and some with AVS.

That’s a super. Sometimes labeled “AVS” and sometimes 024 AV Super.

That has the same crank as the 026 and can accept a 44 or 44.7 026/260 jug with some top fin work.

If you take the top cover off, there should be an old fashioned looking “S” cast into the front top fin. That’s really your only insurance that it’s indeed a Super and not a cover swapped saw.

That is what I use on all my 026`s and just put one on a 024 that has worked out great.
