LOL. That's the reason I have the 44 piston. Doesn't work worth a crap in a 44.7 cylinder.


Or ANY 024 cylinders, that are 42mm
I never checked the bore size 😆
Guess it helps to cover the details. Never had an 024 piston or repaired the cylinder on one. Had a few in for repair years ago. Ass-umed it was 44

Yes, learned that here too; I've been wrong before..... I do have a 024S parts saw I can use for 026 parts (crank/cases). All my 026 are old 44mm ones not 44.7mm
 
Well. I' m thinking which is dangerous that the 024 Super had a longer stroke and you could put an 026 top end on it.

So, I bought an 026 top end that was 44.7 or whatever. But, my 44 MM piston would not work.

So, I bought a 44 .7 piston. The frankensaw is at the lake and runs, but it's not going to break any records.
