So it's the hole just to the right of the clutch next to the oiler. Maybe a dime size hole.

Hey Mark, am I missing a grommet or plug for the chain side of the case below and to the right of the clutch? It looks to be the size of a quarter.

When I rebuilt mine the main brass fuel nozzle that comes up into the venturi was clogged really bad so I had to use wire to ram it through to clean it out that worked for me.

When I had the pump off it had oil down inside beneath diaphram and the felt pad was drenched. Is the pump bad?

So does the felt pad just retain oil or what is its purpose?
