    562 XP fuel delivery issue

This is how it's supposed to be routed: Not the clearest pics, I didn't take them on purpose for this but had them as a reference on my own rebuild. If it's not clear enough, let me know I'll try to take some better ones and explain as needed. It sounds like you also have it on this way, but...

    562 XP fuel delivery issue

That's what I'm saying? Should be possible to blow air into the tank, but not suck it out. (Through the vent of course)

    562XP Durability

Exactly. I was kind of in the same situation before. I need a saw, but don't really have a lot of sawing to do. So I started searching... I need (want :D) something that's reliable, strong, has all the latest cool stuff you could think of, without a doubt it should be pro otherwise might be hard...

    562 XP fuel delivery issue

    1. Yes, when pushed you push fuel from the carb to the tank, and when you let go of the bulb it sucks fuel from te tank again. (So it fills up) 2. The tank vent is the small white 'plug' in the tank, I believe it has no line attached. You can test it by trying to blow air into the tank (should...

    best chainsaw for intermittent use?

Only agree to some extent though. What you suck out of the carb using a primer bulb, goes back into the tank. If it's really nasty, it'll end up in the carb after a while again anyway. Might work if it's diluted enough with fresh fuel, might also not work when there are actual deposits or other...

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

The good service, where a mechanic goes to the extent of even copying a part of the shop manual. The bad attitude I am familiar with :D (not necessarily this case though)

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

I've already ordered all the parts I got so far elsewhere, as there is another dealer a few more miles away which has just about every part you can imagine available to order online. Whenever I need something done I can't do myself I'll ask there first, even though just buying the tools and get...

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

Haha no, no job offer. I think the owner is glad he's done with me :D He walked straight past me without saying a word when I left yesterday. I think he's the type that only cares about making as much money as possible with the least amount of investment/effort possible. I'll try a different...

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

And one more update; I put everything back together, and it runs great! It popped on the first pull, turned choke off and it fired up on second pull after that. Coming from a small plastic rebranded 38cc McCulloch, this thing is an absolute beast  Thanks again for the help guys!

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

I just got a call a few hours ago that the saw was ready again. Took my own vac/pressure test kit over there as they don't have one :dizzy:, did the tests in front of them on their workbench and concluded it's OK now. Tested it according to the specs in the workshop manual, it doesn't seem to...

Husqvarna 572 coming to a store near you!!!

What problems would there be that only show up on the other side of the ocean?

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

Yes exactly my thoughts @smokey7 , I am getting pretty fed up with how things are going in the mean time as well. Having to wait for 2,5 weeks, having to pay extra, and then still ending up with a leaking case. You can probably feel the disappointment I felt when I tested it again and found this...

Not sure how to judge this cylinder and piston

And the saga continues once again. Dealer mangled a crank stuffer and had to order that as well, so it took a little longer. One of the bearings was indeed broken, and the other was sort of corroded onto the crank, he showed it to me. All in all I think it was a good call to have the bearings...

    What would you do?

It's not all to complicated to be honest. I had never worked on a saw until a few weeks ago, when I bought a 562XP with a problem. Of course I wasn't aware of this like most novices are, and just started disassembling the saw as received, with brake engaged... I pulled everything from the clutch...

    Stihl Dealers -- *** Good Grief ***

Thanks Al! Always looking for such info, helps me dig into the real details instead of people just yelling "Use this, it's the best!". Been planning to spend some proper research time on this for quite a while now after just buying the Ultra because 'it works'.

    Stihl Dealers -- *** Good Grief ***

No doubt, but he's a Stihl dealer selling only Stihl oil, and the HP isn't as good as the Ultra. I do see how my post could be interpreted differently though. Care to share which company that is?

    Stihl Dealers -- *** Good Grief ***

Even then it's a PITA over here. "I want to buy some trimmer line of type XYZ" Why do you want the line instead of a blade? "I just need some XYZ line" "We sell a lot of these blades though" "I just need some XYZ line" What trimmer do you have? "I just need some XYZ line, but it's for trimmer...

Cool! I didn't know about specific tool manuals. I used the service manual to get what I needed. Did some searching as well...

    Husqvarna chainsaw tools

Can at least provide you with the seal install tools, just happened to have ordered them myself last week. Disclaimer: no idea on which saws they'll fit or not. Ordered them for a 562XP. Sleeve: 575347001 Guide: 575346901
