I bought the Timber Bear new in 1990. It runs great. missing the top cover and the tab on the chain tensioner is broke. Make me an offer for either or both.

I didn't realize that some came without the full wrap handle.

Thanks all I bought a used 260A and rebuilt it. I put it through an ultrasonic bath in kerosene to clean it out. When I get the chance I will recheck the inlet valve adjustment.

I bought this just try my hand at the conversion. Put the new P&C on and modded the muffler. It runs real strong, pulls that chain at 11,500 WOT. I just cannot get it to run with the Tillotson 260A. Floods it out. Any ideas?

I picked this up at a yard sale last year. it was my winter project. original bar barely used. Needed a fuel line, filter and carb kit due to not properly stored. It came with a McCulloch 300 and a Poulan that I revived and gave to a friend as his first saw.

Been looking for a top handle. Found an Eager Beaver 2.1. Hasn't been used in a long time. Fuel left in the tank rotted out the fuel line. That's all I've been able to see so far.

yeah I opened the high screw just a bit after i saw this. I know some people don't like this model, but when it works right, nice.

Intake manifold is soft and pliable no rips, same for impulse line. Waiting on last of parts to get here. Sprocket, oil & gas vent filters, rear vibe assy. Carb has been ultrasonic cleaned and new parts installed, gas filter and line are new. Muffler is modded. Can't wait to see if it comes...

So I pulled out the old filter and line. That is a pain to get the line back in! I pulled apart the case and motor to figure out how to route it. Thats when I found the busted vibe spring on the back. So I guess I'll figure out the fuel vent that I hear is problematic. I tried to blow through...

Bought the carb kit and a fuel filter and new line. Will try to ultrasonic clean the old carb.
