    Yes it is an "outie"... Not a happy camper after that. So you can drill in and put a new thread in? Good to know. Have a buddy whos a machinist who wanted to try that out... Did you have to balance it or anything?

    Steve, what do you mean by insert? .... It was late and I foolishly turned the brake (I think thats what it is...on the sprocket side) the wrong way and totally sheared off the threadded part. Mark, thanks for the idea Ill track those down and post there!

    Well I crapped the bed and stripped the crankshaft bolt on my PM6...I posted in the tradin post forum here, but if anyone can suggest other sources to find a new shaft Id appreciate it.

    Can anyone help confirm the proper chain size for the older PM6 with the 1/4 pitch and 16" bar? Gotten a bunch of conflicting info so wanted to sort it out... Oregon customer service said the right chain has 80 drive links. Current chain on the saw has 78 links but fits kinda loose even at max...

    I also used a 1/8 stainless tubing to expand the rubber nipple based on something I saw in the forum here. Works like a charm! Based on those pics I have the PM6 w/ the banana handle... Will be good to get it tuned in (thanks Ray!) and see how she does. Was billowing white smoke when I fired...
