Holzforma recall on 440 kit crank

Just choked On my smoke. Had to wash her down with a beer. Crankshafts, how about the other issues these saws and kits have. They don’t seem to improve on small issues Tho. I am not knocking them either, you get what you pay for. I personally liked the challengeS they gave me.

Talk me out of a CS-400

My kid just got home and we were chainsaw chatting. His boss couldn't get the CS 300 started, He keeps pumping the bulb etc. My kid goes over and locks the throttle in and it fires in one pull. My kid says it’s not a bad saw for little stuff.

Talk me out of a CS-400

For what you need, a CS-400 is fine. I Love Mine it is a go to Saw. It will do little and big wood per say. Its light and nimble and balances out just right. Starts super easy and never had a problem with it.

    McCulloch Chain Saws

The saw runs the same with or without it. That’s why I asked. Usually I find some remnants of it. The saw cuts great but idles down over a few minutes and stalls.

    Homelite Chainsaws

    McCulloch Chain Saws

Yes, I just rebuilt a carb and had a idle issue. Before and after carb rebuild same problem. I dident check the nozzle when i had her apart. Tore her down again and checked her and there is no rubber disc in her. I put in a new nozzle and she runs the same.

    McCulloch Chain Saws

At this moment, Mac 10-10 automatic has been a real pain in the butt. I think I got her running right finally but can’t find the choke rod Rod to button her up.
