It looks pretty nasty on the radar, especially up around Denison. They have warnings out west & north of me but nothing showing on the radar, must be expecting it to blow up.

Echo CS2511t seems to get a lot of good press. I don’t do much climbing but do own one. I like the adjustable oiler & it runs well. A lot of folks seem to like putting 1/4” chain on them but I prefer the 3/8”LP.

This ^^^^^. I bought a CS2511t , it had VXL & would cut smooth & then chatter. I read somewhere that after a few sharpenings it quits the chattering. I replaced mine with Stihl chain & have had no issues.

Keep in mind when these saw manufacturers give you the weight of the the saw it is “dry weight” with no fuel or oil. So a said saw may have a lighter dry weight but have larger tanks versus another saw thus nullifying your weight savings, granted maybe not by much but still heavier when loaded...
