Just Released: Estwing Premium Work Gloves!

I have a pair of Lincoln Electric gloves that I use when I go out to grab a couple days worth of firewood and bring it around in with the jet sled. I finally wore a hole in the finger tip that I noticed while rearranging the burning logs in the wood stove.

Just Released: Estwing Premium Work Gloves!

Will do! My favorite gloves for chainsaw use and splitting wood have been the Husqvarna ones sold at Lowes. They don't seem to carry them anymore. I had the same problem, where I would get a hole in the finger tip. The Estwing gloves look like they have more reinforcement there, so we'll see.

I'm always looking for a nice work glove that involves processing firewood. I just got my hands on the new Estwing Premium work gloves that were just released in January. Check out my video if you would like to find out more. Thanks!

    The Traveling Leveraxe/Leveraxe 2 Thread

I'm thinking about buying the Truper Leveraxe from Lowes. Can anyone tell me if it's any different than the original? Is the steel different? Thanks!

6' Birch Sticks Sold at Whole Foods- This you have to see!!

What do you guys think about this deal on 6' Birch Poles I found at my local Whole Foods? I could retire early if I could put a stand of these outside my house and get $23 a piece. I don't shop there for groceries, just their lunch bar. It's a quick health meal for less than $8.

Have you shopped at Duluth Trading Company?

I agree with you. That's how I get outdoor work clothes too.

Have you shopped at Duluth Trading Company?

I made my first purchase from the Duluth Trading Company store. There's a new one that just opened up in Michigan. Please check out my video and tell me what you like in their store. I hear they have nice flannel shirts and also hear good things about their gloves. Thanks!

Testing the $65 Halder Steel Splitting Wedge- Made in Germany

Thanks, my entire wood pile is from utility cutting. They didn't have many big rounds and the ones they did were cut thin, for the homeowners to be able to handle easier. I may compare this one to the Estwing Super Split and the Ochsenkopf aluminum twisted wedge. I'll wait till I get some big...

This is a video review I made about 5 years ago. I've had great luck with the Mingo Marker.

Testing the $65 Halder Steel Splitting Wedge- Made in Germany

I believe the twist reduces the number of wedges needed. I like this design over the Estwing Sure Split Wedge.

Testing the $65 Halder Steel Splitting Wedge- Made in Germany

Please check out my review of the Halder Steel Splitting Wedge. Do you guys prefer using a sledge and wedge or a maul for splitting the tough rounds? Thanks!

Halder Simplex Splitting Maul- Testing for the first time.

Haha, funny you should ask. I'm planning on a follow-up video testing it with wedges. Halder makes a high end wedge, so I'm getting that shipped to me and the video will soon follow.

Halder Simplex Splitting Maul- Testing for the first time.

I'm testing out the Halder Simplex Splitting Maul for the first time. This maul weighs 9lbs and is 35.8" overall and made in Germany. Has anyone else tried this one? So far, I'm very happy with it after splitting for one day. I have a huge pile of firewood that the utility company cut, so...
