    firewood tractors

Just bought this Italian made tractor. It needs a little love, but eventually I think it will work good in the woods as long as I don’t have to buy to many parts for it!

    New winch!

Went from a 3000 lb superwinch to a 9500 lb superwinch tiger shark. Should have done that a long time ago. The tiger shark is way faster and doesn’t stop!!! It was a great day to be in the woods.

    Winch options for log arch

No the home built skidder is a another project. The log arch is my go to firewood tool for now. Just wanting to speed things up some sometimes I just can’t get real close to the logs without driving over a bunch of saplings. Tying to leave the woods like I found except a few brush piles.

    Winch options for log arch

Need some opinions on a electric winch for the log arch. Now I have a superwinch ut3000. It’s a nice winch but horribly slow. I do have a snatch block on it so I realize it slows it down. But I need to speed up the operation, I was considering a superwinch terra 45 or all the way up to a...

First load in of the season!!!!!!

Ya it’s hauled a lot of wood in its day. It’s homemade, I built it all out of c channel Perlins from a metal building. It’s been a great trailer. I have no idea on the weight limit but I’m sure I’ve had it overloaded a time or two

First load in of the season!!!!!!

Loaded the trailer this morning with the first load of firewood! I can’t wait to light up the boiler. The boiler has been lit for 6 years straight and this summer I finally decided to shut it down. Kinda of missing it.

Finally made a rack to hold the saws...

The old Remington doesn't get used much but it's near and dear to my heart. Grandpal gave it to me. My very first chainsaw. I'll die with it too! He has since passed and grandma gave me all of his chainsaw stuff. 2 chain grinders and an old Lickety splitter and a stihl 038 magnum. I think of...

Finally made a rack to hold the saws...

Not as many saws as some of you guys, but I have a start. I used an old gas grill to hold mine so I.can roll it around the shop if need to. I have since added a few more saws.
