Want to Buy Looking for an ECHO 8000

It's not an 8000, but I have a CS-800P that's in good working condition that I'm looking to sell. They are pretty similar. Let me know if you want to discuss further. Thanks, Phill

Sold 372xp oe or 365 special

I have a hi-top 372xp (OE) that I have listed locally. Before I owned it it had taken a tree strike and bent the handle, broke the brake flag, crushed the muffler, and cracked a small (cosmetic) chunk out of the case. It's all fixed. OEM handle, AM brake flag, and Muffler from "the duke."...

Has anyone used 'The Log Boiler' ?

I worked for The Log Boiler for about a 1.5 years. Tom (the owner) is a great guy who used to build houses. For about 15 years all he's been doing is building wood boilers. In the last 10 years he has made great improvements to the efficiency and longevity of the design of his stoves...

    Fiskars x36

As for x36, I was mistaken about that being the name of mine. Mine is the x27, which has a 36 inch handle. I'm not sure what or if there is an x36. That's a bit confusing, and I hadn't looked at mine in a while. As for the 5am thing . . . I have my work cut out for me. The wood is piled...

    Fiskars x36

Go get one. Most of my firewood over the last 6 years has been split with an x36. I use about 10 cord a year. I did get a splitter for tough rounds recently, but the Fiskars is faster and I can swing it at 5am without waking up the neighborhood.

    My experience with DHT

This kind of service earned a customer out of me. I am happy with my 28ton model, although I can't leave well enough alone and I've done some "mods" to mine. I'm aware that this probably voids the warranty, and I'm ok with that. I've not needed to contact them for anything, and I don't...

Want to Buy Husqvarna 55 Cylinder and piston

I'm looking for a decent quality (OE or AM) cylinder and piston for a 55. This is for a friend who's saw I attempted to fix by cleaning up the OEM cylinder, but after some use it's self destructed again. I'm not looking for a closed port, or anything special, just a garden variety...

    Sold Jonsered 670

Very similar but still different in some ways. Without them in front of me I can't comment further. Some parts swap, some are same, some will not swap. How's that for an answer?

It's getting to that time! Who's lit?!

I lit up my OWB on wednesday night, and this morning I found that my air conditioning was kicking in every time my thermostat called for the blower fan to run. I had forgotten to flip the breaker off when the temperatures fell. Now I just need to remember to drain the downspout from my deck, etc.

Nice. I had the same thing last year. It runs right with my 372xp. Good luck with sale.

Dolmar 5100s, vs. Echo CS-520 vs. MMWS Husqvarna 346xp

After I put a (cellphone) stop watch on the 3, the average times that I measured were 11.35, 1056 and 6.62 respectively . . . I'm a little high on coffee, with an itchy trigger finger though. If we assume that the results from last fall have the Echo and the Husqvarna at a dead heat, we can...

Dolmar 5100s, vs. Echo CS-520 vs. MMWS Husqvarna 346xp

Hey folks, I’ve had these 50cc units rattling around in my garage for a few months, and finally took the time to do a little cookie cutting. Before I show the videos, please read the details: Dolmar 5100s – (purchased form Rynosawr) has been through a piston replacement with a factory style...

    Let's Discuss 2100XP Pistons

I have used the VEC from Northwood. I have a few hours on it, but using Caber rings, bearing and circlips. I did not use the hardware that came with the piston. The outside of the piston was machined ok, but the inside was poor. The opening for the rod was not wide enough, and I had to widen...
