I'm looking to put a bigger carb on my 346, I'm thinking of getting a Walbro 191 which is the same as a 199 that comes on a 359. Will it bolt right on or do I need to change more stuff.
Does tMight as well add the 359 intake & better air filter at the same time, flows more air
Does the cover still fit??? Or do u have to use 359 cover???Might as well add the 359 intake & better air filter at the same time, flows more air
It's a noticeable difference. All my 346s' are running 357/359 carbs now.How much improvement would I see on a ported saw with that carb, saw already runs really strong.
The 346 intake is larger at the cylinder end, but the 357 intake is larger at the carb end. So it's wash there and to me not worth changing. The filter and filter neck are larger on the 357, but I stayed with the 346 filter set up.Might as well add the 359 intake & better air filter at the same time, flows more air
Yes, easy bolt in swap.So it is a straight carb for carb swap out??? The 346 manifold and air filter will fit onto the new carb without large hammers, torches, grinders, or pry bars???
I run the 191, 198 & 199, doesn't seem to be any difference. Is there any other difference from 190,191,198,199 other then heathed & EPA?
Sounds too easy, I'm firing up the torch anyways!!!!Yes, easy bolt in swap.
Brad's thread was awesome! If you search for Brads thread Heaven something he had some really nice pictures of it all in there along with his porting work. Save the torch for the muffler mod
thanks, I was just currious. Do you know if all the H L niddles are also the same 190 vs 191 vs 198 vs 199?I run the 191, 198 & 199, doesn't seem to be any difference.
