Nice, that way maximizes space. I went w horizontal shelves w/ 1 saw per shelf. Ur way I could of fit 15 saws in the same space. Now you need some danish oil or similar then 6+ coats of polyurethane. I built mine out of pine and got a little crazy on the sanding and finishes. It should last a while and looks like a piece of ur grandmothers furniture.
I'm more concerned about prying eyes and sack of sh_t thieves. I keep saws in locked steel cabinet. At my Dad's, hide them behind general junk in barn.
We have two large storage sheds. Both are pretty much full. But....all of my O P E is kept in my garage / shop. It's much more secure and the temperature is controlled.
Most important part of a storage shed is a good lock. Both of our sheds have windows in them. All of the windows have anti-burglar bars on them.
I'm now taking my bars off, then the saws go anywhere and occupying little space. Yeah, I only have 3 saws, but space is space and it is not unlimited.
