Talk to us about your love affair with unnecessary complexity when one of them breaks and you try to get it fixed.

I just fixed one yesterday and only because I had another one here to swap parts from. Without parts to try you will be guessing. My problem turned out to be a dirty carb.

Muffler mod and increasing squish (base gasket removal) .020 are worthwhile wood-sporting mods m-tronic saws. A few people on here have shown that increasing timing on these m-tronic saws has lowered throttle response and torque. I believe blsnelling did some timing advance tests on the 261c and 151tc not sure about the 462c thought. I think it has to do with the m-tronics being able to adjust their own timing about 5°
