Yah, I know the dictionary definition of it, and one of those is a small load of anything. But we Vermonters, et al, use terms locally and colloquially without any regard for their proper "English" meaning. We disregard and mangle the Queen's English with great glee. Much to the chagrin of those limeys across the pond.Was used by Dad back on the farm. Referred to a small load of most anything. "I brought home a jag of oats"
